THEMOIRè presents their capsule collection SS23 on MFW 22

THEMOIRè presents ‘Together by THEMOIRè’ capsule collection SS23 during Milan fashion week 2022

THEMOIRè, known for its ethical commitment and as a finalist at the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2022, presents its SS23 collection in conjunction with a photo exhibition included in the official calendar of Milan Fashion Week. The event will take place at Spazio Riviera, to celebrate the TOGETHER by THEMOIRè project // CHAPTER 02 – a project enhancing the artisan heritage in communities around the world.
With their contribution, THEMOIRè created three variations of the brand’s best selling styles, BIOS and GEA, two clutches with a shoulder strap characterized by a soft, modern, and refined shape. For this capsule collection, the two iconic THEMOIRé models have been made of 100% raffia, complemented by the iconic vegan PU closure. Raffia comes from a locally sourced endemic tropical palm, and its harvesting is a process similar to pruning, which contributes to the overall health of the plant. The fibers obtained through this process are exceptionally elastic and durable. Maxi fringes, a wavy and curly texture, and a crochet version that incorporates small metal spheres, characterize these accessories presented in natural, bougainvillea pink or vivid yellow tones.
A portion of proceeds from the sale of this capsule will be reinvested in supporting the Avoko Association orphanage in Madagascar.
Supporting the children in the orphanage means investing in a better future, as we look to them to build a better society. Even small individual actions can support big dreams for a more responsible reality.

“With TOGETHER by THEMOIRè / CHAPTER 01 we had involved the Oxchuc community in Chiapas to create a collection of limited-edition pieces. The proceeds from the sales were reinvested, cooperating with the Cantaro Azul association, to bring drinking water to seven rural schools. Chapter two of this project sees the community of Antananarivo as the protagonist. The red earth of
Madagascar and its great biodiversity won us over for their rare beauty but, at the same time, we could not remain indifferent to the conditions of extreme poverty of the population and of the children who, despite everything, never lose their smile” said Francesca Monaco and Salar Bicheranloo, Founders and Creative Directors of THEMOIRé.
